Lawmakers not preparing to scatter
So much for all the hype earlier this week about the blizzard.
Lawmakers, who sometimes are ready to flee the Capitol and head home when a storm threatens, are most likely staying in Pierre until tomorrow.
“There are no plans that I know of that would adjust our schedule,” says Rep. David Lust, the Republican majority leader.
Once again, we’re missing the worst (or best, for drought plagued areas) of a Great Plains blizzard that is ranging well to our south.
